G Gathering Ribbon carving to support Relay for Life

Ribbon carving to support Relay for Life

The American Cancer Society will have its upcoming Relay for Life themed Racing For A Cure, May 30 and 31st, at Chesapeake City Park. To kick off the event, chainsaw artist Jay Bowman of Kitty Hawk carved a Cancer Ribbon from pine, engraving it with the word Hope. American Cancer Society Chesapeake volunteers were excited to watch such a wonderful piece of artwork being revealed.
